Our Wellington Studio
A serene space where traditional tea rituals meet contemporary design, creating a sanctuary for sensory exploration and mindful connection.
The Wellington Tea Studio Experience
Founded in 2018 by Sarah Mitchell, our Wellington studio has become a sanctuary for tea lovers and mindfulness seekers. Sarah, a certified tea sommelier with over 15 years of experience in London's finest tea houses, brings her expertise to the heart of New Zealand's capital.
Our studio is designed as a haven from the bustling world outside—a space where time slows and senses awaken. Natural materials, soft curves, and diffused light create an atmosphere conducive to presence and appreciation. We've hosted over 200 tea ceremonies and workshops, building a community of over 1,500 tea enthusiasts across Wellington.
Whether you're joining us for a formal tea tasting, a pastry workshop, or simply to enjoy our daily offerings, each visit is an invitation to engage with the beauty of simplicity and the rich traditions of tea culture.
